Victoria first discovered the beneficial effects of yoga while in high school. When studying for tests or while experiencing writer’s block, she noted that inversions helped her focus -- some of the clearest ideas came to her while upside down!
Once she moved to New York, Victoria completed the 200 hour Teacher Training Program at New York Yoga in 2006. In the fall of 2008, Victoria completed her training in yoga for kids at Little Flower Yoga in Manhattan. She enjoyed developing a yoga program for Kindergarten children at a private school on the Upper West Side, and taught yoga for the early childhood students for over five years.
Victoria continues to deepen her practice by being a perennial student herself. Her favorite part about being a teacher is learning from her students, watching them grow with their practice, sharing her passion of the art of yoga with fellow yogis from all walks of life.
